Well, it's the day I had always waited for, my "Wedding Day." I had been working vigorously to make sure that I had everything in place booking the church, hall, caterer, etc. and everything was coming together. One of the things that was really important to me was having live entertainment since my whole family loves to sing and dance. I had a band all in place and then just a few weeks before our wedding I got the call that the band we booked had to cancel. I was devastated!
Trying to find a band that has quality musicians, plays a variety of music, and is affordable at the last minute is almost unheard of since you usually have to book a band at least six months in advance.
A friend told me about "Notso" Costley Productions so I called them even though I knew it was probably a shot in the dark on such short notice. When I called, I was shocked! Paul said that he would try to shuffle some engagements around and see if his band, "The Grinning Lizards" could play at my wedding. He responded to me the next day and said that he worked it out and they could play. I was so relieved!I had never heard them play before, but he referred me to their website so I could hear their music. It was great! The band was exactly what I had always wanted. They had a sax player, congas, drums, guitar & bass player the whole nine yards! Paul also worked closely with me to incorporate any particular songs that I wanted played.
When our wedding day came and the band played they were awesome! The music I had heard on their website was just what they sounded like live on stage. They knew how to work the crowd and we danced all night. I want to say thanks so much to Paul and "Notso" Costley Productions for coming through for me. Who says that dreams don't come true. Thanks again for an amazing wedding reception that my family and I will never forget.
