What can you say about a band that’s been together since 1986? Plenty! While many bands come and
go within a few years, (Savoy) Truffle is in it for the long haul. They are players and entertainers; it’s
what they do!
Truffle is David Bailey (bass, vocals), Ned Chase (mandolin, guitar, lap steel & vocals), Mike Gendron
(drums), and Dave Gerard (vocals, electric & resonator guitars). Both Dave’s and Ned have been
creating music together since 1986. They have performed in all but ten states across the U.S.,
playing as many as 275 shows in one year. Mike (still the rookie) joined the band with years
of experience in 1996; the only lineup change in the band’s history.
Truffle has achieved widespread popularity by headlining many respected venues as well as sharing
the stage with international acts as Little Feat, Phish, The Band, Dave Matthew’s Band, David Lindley,

having graduated with a degree in Harp Performance from the Curtis Institute of Music, Philadelphia,

While studying in Philadelphia, she was the harpist for the Four Seasons Hotel, playing high tea five
days a week in the Swann Lounge. Piper has appeared with the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Baltimore

addiction you never really kick — a bunch of great players, wonderful people in the right place at the

with formal training coming from the University of Maine Jazz School and instructors such as Sheila

recordings “Your Own Backyard” (1999) and “Pennies” (2004).
Tom Yoder is a musician whose style is rooted in bluegrass and contemporary folk music. Add a little
rock edge, a touch of blues, sweeten with some country swing and you have a recipe for Tom’s unique
rootsy sound. As a mandolin and fiddle player for the Don Campbell Band he enjoyed the opportunity
to perform at The Grand Old Opry in Nashville as winners of a national talent contest where he stole
the show for his electrifying live performance.

Currently working on his new full-length CD due out shortly, Sean's latest release entitled "July" is a
collection of three songs highlighting this artist's versatility. The CD's co-producer, Todd Bowie, has
worked with The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac & most recently, Beck among many other artists.
Touring in support of the same release while writing and recording new material, Sean has recently
shared stages with artists and bands such as Gary Cherone (Extreme, Van Halen), Brian Vander Ark
(The Verve Pipe), David Gates (Bread), O-town, Smile Empty Soul, Larry the Cable Guy and MCA
